What is an electric fat bike?

An electric fat bike is just like a standard fat bike but much better! You can pedal it like you would a normal bike or you can twist the throttle to engage the motor which is located above the real wheel. An electric fat bike is basically all the fun of a standard bike with much less work.

How does an electric fat bike work?

Our fat bikes are “throttle-assisted” bikes equipped with a motor that may be used to propel the bicycle (without pedaling). You press the throttle with your finger to engage the motor so you can sit back and enjoy the ride ! Of course, you always have the option to use the pedals the old-fashion way.

How long is the electric fat bike tour?

A typical tour takes 1 hour and includes a short safety briefing and visit to the kennels prior to taking off on the sled.

Do I have to know how to ride a bike?

Yes, for your safety and well-being of others, all riders must know how to ride a bike to participate in our bike tours.

What should I wear?

All riders must wear closed toe shoes and appropriately dress for the weather.

Is it hard to ride an electric fat bike?

No, if you can ride a conventional bike, you can ride an electric fat bike. It’s the very same thing only with a little bit of help

Can I bring a camera and take pictures?

Yes, but for safety reasons we ask that you do not take photos while biking. We will stop along the trail and give you lots of opportunities to take photos.

Are helmets required?

Yes, for your safety we require everyone to wear a helmet which we provide.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes, any cancellations that are made less than 48 hours prior to the tour departure time will be charged the full tour price. This includes no-shows, late arrivals and any reduction in booking party size.

What is the weather policy?

Tours runs regardless of weather conditions and we do ask that you dress appropriately for the weather. In the rare situation that we are forced to cancel the tour due to inclement weather, someone will contact you at the telephone number provided during the reservation process.

Is it appropriate to tip our guide?

Absolutely! Our guides work very hard to give you a safe, fun and informative tour. Any tip you would like to give is greatly appreciated!

All reservations are charged in full at the time of booking.

Individual cancellations:
• Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance will incur a 20% administration fee.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable.

Corporate & Group cancellations
• Cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance will incur a 20% administration fee.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable.

Dans le cas d’une annulation de particulier, dans un délai :
• Supérieur à 48h de la date d’activité prévue : des frais administratifs de 20% seront encourus.
• Inferieur a 48h de la date d’activité prévue : 100% du montant prévu pour l’activité sera facturé.

Dans le cas d’une annulation de groupe corporatif, dans un délai :
• Supérieur à 72h de la date d’activité prévue : des frais administratifs de 20% seront encourus.
• Inferieur a 72h de la date d’activité prévue : 100% du montant prévu pour l’activité sera facturé.
